Reappearances

On a starry winters night,
the sickness was caught.
Feeding on the heart,
pleasure from sucking life.
And it did Climax,
Causing nausea,
worse,
causing hurt.
Too soon
It did leave,
leaving a void.
The sickness slowly forgotten.
On occasion red spots reappear,
the nausea returns.
Annoyed,
She will live with the sickness,
and its sporadic returns.

More often than not there are things in your life you would rather forget. Much of the time you think you have forgotten the person, event, etc. Much to your annoyance something happens to remind you that the thing you would rather forget, or think of as a dream, actually happened and it is something you will have to live with, not forget, for the rest of your life.

Simply brilliant. This poem makes the reader very curious about specific things the speaker may have physically seen to relive old feelings and recreate both the beautiful and painful emotions from the past. Every person who has loved and lost, whether it be their fault or otherwise, witnesses times with a special song, movie, or even location that creates exactly what has been captured in this piece. Yet again, your poetry is extremely thought provoking and, with any type of good writing, really forces the reader to think about the events that may have occurred in the past.
Great work, you are truly on a poetic hot streak right now in reflecting on raw emotion, keep up the enthralling work.
